The many pieces (16/17) of carpet that go into a 1974 MG Midget. I matched up the old pieces with the new to ensure proper orientation and fit prior to installation.

Newly installed driver side footwell carpet Each

Newly-installed driver side footwell carpet. Each footwell carpet has 5 snaps that need to be installed to prevent them from sliding around. The driver side needs a slot cut for the accelerator pedal.

The rear part of the tunnel carpet. It gets worn from the sun, and (I assume) from using the tunnel as a place to place your hand when entering the vehicle.

These snaps prevent the tonneau from flapping around. It was difficult to find the screw holes, even though I had measured their placement before disassembly.

I used a heated bolt to punch holes in the carpet

I used a heated bolt to punch holes in the carpet under the seats for the seat slider retaining bolts.
