The City of Gabicce Mare is looking forward to relive the beautiful moments from two years ago, when the sound of the magnificent classic cars fueled the atmosphere of the place and rendered it more animated than usual.

There were 100 lovers of historic motor sports who for a week conferred to Gabicce a special touch of elegance and exclusiveness with the MG classic cars, fully functioning "jewels", capable of offering the same breathtaking emotions spectators feel when they watch the passage of the special motors of the 1000 Miglia race.

To watch these cars is like a travel in time: the oldest was built in 1929, and many other stunning models were constructed more recently, ranging up to the 80s.

The quality and authenticity of these pre-war pieces from Denmark, Switzerland, the Netherlands, France, the United Kingdom, Austria, Belgium, Germany, Ireland, and Italy, ensures prestige to this international event.

The first MG car was built in England in 1924 as desired by Cecil Kimber; for motors his philosophy was to create sports cars that were within the reach of all those not so blazoned fans who neither could afford Jaguars nor Bentleys nor Aston Martins. In fact, the MG cars immediately were a great success, standing out for their extraordinary quality and achieving top ranks in the most famous races of the time. Tazio Nuvolari also contributed to their success on board of the legendary MG/K3. In addition, some models established several world speed records. All this added to the fact that the MG brand soon became part of the legend of sports cars to be perpetuated to the present day.

In many cases, buying a classic car stands for originality and makes a good investment over time; furthermore, the passionate audience participates in the extravagance of each pilot, who, above all, is totally dedicated to the research of original spare parts from the manufacturer, the quality of restoration executed by specialized mechanics and artisans with long traditions, the historical circumstances that determined the technical characteristics and the style.
