Is it possible to use rear dampers from a more modern vehicle that might fit the zb (with maybe some mods to the mounting brackets?)
The ones I have seen so far for the magnette have all been big bucks....cool smiley

Ian,
Yes, there are some modern shock alternatives. Searching the archives, I found some references. Check all the past dates, not just the last 365 days. There is this discussion from June 2015.

I bought the Monroe Shocks - 32235 front, and 32293 rear for my ZB and they are a match to the old ones. $18 each from Walmart in the USA.

Garon: I purchased the exact Monroe shocks for my Varitone in 2010. No problems. Maybe you Magneteers across the pond could order these on line from American sources. May be cheaper than UK suppliers
