Just installed my new 'Moss' via "lbcarco" [Lbcarco is the only way to go!] light and could not get passenger side to fit up properly. I've attached two photos. One shows the two chrome / stainless bezels [I didn't check to see which] the second shows a dashed line for the original / as purchased bezel and the solid line is the replacement. I recommend that in any case you retain the originals bezels as the replacement aren't / may not be quite the same. Just enough to make a misfit to the fender.

No disrespect intended to Mr. Zorn, as he provides a valuable service to all! Just saying these 'Moss' replacements don't replace. It doesn't take but as millimeter of difference to cause fit up issues. I also purchased new / replacement seals for my headlamps and they fit perfectly fine. The left side original chrome piece fit perfectly to the new assembly, the right side I had to smack with the palm of my hand to get it to snap into place, just a bit small I would guess.

Just a word of caution. Don't throw out any original parts they will come in handy sooner or later.

My originals were amber / amber and were installed backwards. The replacements have a different pattern and are white / amber and installed correctly according to the MGC brochure photos I've found.

All is good in the end, and they fit properly now.

Hi Bill, I've had the same fitment issues with so many parts that I just hang on to all the original stuff taken off parts cars, and have the best pieces rechromed.
Sure it cost more, but it's hard to beat the original fit, and quality.

x2 on what Dana said.
MGA headlight buckets and chrome trim rings are another mix and match that does not always work well.
