Where to buy a guaranteed rebuilt overdrive, or where to find a known good one. I'm happy with my 4 speed but not the bad 3rd gear synchro,

You mean a whole OD gearbox ?

I'm not sure you can buy a recon without a core exchange, or at least no without sacrificing your deposit which makes it a very expensive upgrade !

Thanks guys, that's what I expected, have searched the net and couldn't find what I wanted, so I guess I'll attempt finding one for rebuild.
