Some modern pads screech a lot on a B. But, what is too much?

Make sure the brakes are not hotter on one corner. All four corners should be fairly close in temps.

If they are ok, then there are ways to quiet pads. A cut, some tapering edges and lots of goop on the back.

The screeching is actually the pad vibrating against the piston face. An old school fix was to line the back of the pad with duct tape. Stops the screech every time.

There's also a product on the market called Anti-Squeal. You spray it on the piston side of the brake pads and then re-install them. Your noise is caused by occillation which is due to the pads moving about inside the calipers against a not so smooth and slightly out of round rotor. RAY
