The Old Dominion British Car Club of Danville,VA lost a great member last Thursday, March 26, when Mr. Robert L. Hairston passed away suddenly late that night. Robert owned 3 british cars - a classic Jaguar, a british racing green MGB and a red MGB-GT. I'm 34 and at times, I felt like Mr. Hairston had more energy than I, as he was always ready to attend and did attend nearly all ODBCC club meetings, the local Chatham Cruise-In events and many british car shows in nearby Virginia - the SVBCC Waynesboro British Car Shows, Uwharrie British Car Meets in NC and the NCMGCarClub's Raleigh, NC British Car Shows. He will be missed!! Funeral services will take place on Thursday, April 2nd at 12 noon; if you knew Robert and are looking for more info, see ODBCC.com or Fisher & Watkins Funeral Home.

Reggie, I had the pleasure of talking with Mr. Hairston on a couple of occasions at the car show in Waynesboro. Extremely personable gentleman who certainly will be missed. Condolences to the family.

It's the "Little" things.

Although I now own this C, it will always be Pat's MG

The ranks of the original MG owners are growing thinner every year, God bless his soul and open the garage doors.
