Certian versions of this carb have a temperature compensation device located near the throttle linkage. Mine does not, yours does not.

Looks like someone has had the dashpot cover off. Mine has a screw in the inner rear hole (next to the 175 marking) yours looks like a plug - hmmm...

Hard to tell but looks like you still have auto/water choke. Mine is converted manual and I like that control over things.

I got her running boys! Rebuilt the water choke, changed the cap and rotor then bam she fired right up! Thanks for all the input, it's a really good feeling to here it fire up, now the work continues!
