There are several couples coming from our local club, but they don't post on this forum.
“Ideological certainty easily degenerates into an insistence upon ignorance". Daniel Patrick Moynihan
In any debate, the side which strays from civil discussion is usually the side that lacks confidence in its debate position or in the merit of their arguments. Making personal attacks on the opponents instead of staying on the subject is also a sign of weakness.
Anyone who feels compelled to respond in kind to any perceived slight is often suffering from narcissism.

My brother lived in Syracuse and we went for a number of year, camped at the Glen State Park. It is an awesome vintage event.
One year Sir Sterling Moss was the Grand Marshall. I was standing next to him during during the concours show in the street on Friday night. I asked if he was Moss, he said yes and that he was trying to enjoy the cars unnoticed. I did get to shake his hand.

One of my fellow MGCC - Rocky Mountain Centre members is hauling his MG-B race car from Colorado to the event. If you go, look for Jonathan Lane from Colorado driving a white MG-B with green stripes around the bonnet, current number 31, welcome him, he is a great guy

Just finished replacing a leaky rear axle seal, which also lead to fixing an incorrectly installed set of brake shoes. And that's on top of replacing a shot rod bearing. So, fingers crossed, we'll be there! We were there 2 years ago and had a blast. So looking forward to this years.

We go every year. One year we stay over for the weekend and deal with the Stone Bridge Drivers events and the next we just go for the day. We are just going on Saturday as luck had it we didn't get a room for this year. The place we stay at holds it for us every second year. Rooms are tough to get. Ed

I think another friend from Colorado is there as well, Jack Mahler with his Brooklands 12/12 racer. Another super cool car and person
