Any shortcuts or valuable advice before I dig in. I am no stranger to adjusting valves. Just haven't done it on the TF.

Thanks

Difficult to do accurately on an XPAG or XPEG using feeler gauges, as the rocker arm pads are often indented. Then again as the manufacturers recommended valve clearances for the XPAG at least have varied considerably, it may not be considered ultra critical. Methods using a micrometer are preferred but difficult to set up. As usual the rule of nine applies.

Your original valve lash was .012"; some, like John Twist, recommend opening that up to .015". Either works fine; if it seems noisy at .015", reduce to .012".

Set all valves hot.
