After learning about the database at UHAUL not supporting the towing of an MGB with a 4 wheel transporter , I decided to contact the local dealer here and find a corporate phone number and email to dive into what I felt was a entry problem that has been inplace for over 30 years.
I presented tech data about the specs of an MGB including weight, tire track, wheelbase, and more
I also noted that they allow a Spitfire which is almost identical to a MGB
I got a phone call earlier today from an engineer who has looked into all my info and now confirmed he has found what happened and how the database was not correct.
He said he hoped within a few days to have it fixed and corrected in all areas so anyone now wanting to use UHAUL auto transporter to relocate or tow an MGB will have no troubles now
It will be be no longer necessary to have to say it is NOT an MGB but a mustang or Pinto in order to leave with a transporter
It did take awhile but finally has paid off

If anyone needs to rent one before the issue is entered and fixed I do have a phone number and email so you can get him to deal directly with your local company and will be happy to pass along

Thanks for your effort and persistence for the benefit of all MGB owner.
This reminds me, when I bought my car back in 2005, I rented a UHAUL 4-wheel auto transport (not the dolly!) and I told them I was hauling a '72 MGB. They never asked any questions and the rental papers indicated it was an MGB being hauled just as I told them. It maybe different up here in UHAUL Canada. or they may have removed it from their list later on for some reason..
My 1958 MGA is not a car, it's a CAREER..!! ...
