Hello folks
I know this topic has been discussed to death but never addressed the tires on my 80 LE.
Which are 175/70 14. I have seen tire pressures for 165 or 185 but not 175s. Any suggestions on tire pressure? I know the ties are not the ideal size but they are brand new!
Thanks for your help

I'd start with whatever has been recommended for 185/70-14s on late model MGBs, then adjust if need be.

Do not ask the tire guy.

Generally they put #40 in them.

Do what Rob said. I run 28/30. Same size.

I run the same size tires on my '67 B. I run 28/28 and occasionally, just to be daring, 28/30. This is with Minator knockoff alloy wheels. RAY

Personally, I prefer the neutral feeling when cornering that you get with equal pressure front and rear. I use 28/28, with 165/80 tires.

I've always liked firmer rather than softer. spinning smiley sticking its tongue out So I tend to run all my cars in the low to mid 30's. Harsher ride but over the years I find they wear more evenly.
