Could someone tell me exactly the type of fluid to put in this transmission. I've purchased Lucas heavy duty, high performance SAE 80W/90 Gear oil.....(trans & diff lube). Is this the correct fluid?
Thanks!!

Daniel, I have been using the Lucas oil, no problems. I then tried the Amsoil as I have used Amsoil on my motorcycle with amazing results. Easier shifts with a notchier feel. It is API GL-4, exactly what you'd car calls for. It is a modern lubricant that provides superior protection for the gears, synchronizes, and yellow metals. Why wouldn't you use it?!
