Tach not Working - 73 GT

It's powered by the green circuit. If that fuse is blown, you'd also have no turn signals, temp and fuel gauges.
It's triggered by a white with black connector at the coil. Check to see if it hasn't been knocked off. Does the light in the gauge come on with your headlamps? Might be a bad ground.

dash light for tach has zilch to do with signal.
Check continuity for the white/black wire from tach to coil (i.e. check ohms. Should be zero or near).
Reassembling my car after painting I found I'd "lost" the tach end of the white/black wire so ran a new one (white wire with Sharpy black line drawn on it, on both sides<G> works fine.
1973 Pale Primrose Roadster. A nice 10-footer!
