Get on I-70 and turn right just before you get to the Utah border. Is this for your car or somebody else's? What's the story?

It's a car that I have owned for 56 years. My father bought it for me when I was 17. I'm retired now, don't golf, so I decided to strip the car down to the frame. I had the frame powder coated, and now putting the car back together. Not being an experienced mechanic, I broke the stud off when removing the abutment from the back plate. So far this it the first setback, probably not the last.
