It just dawned on me that I have never seen an aftermarket hole cut in a GT. Anyone have one they like or don't like?

just the usual fold back sunroof here Michael. Britax version, similar to Webasto. I like it on a nice day, it does not leak etc, but given where I live its less used than it could be, and so in summary (as opposed to summery!) I have one as it was on the car when I got it, were it not already there I probably would not bother fitting one.

Now you are rubbing it in Ernie - yup, if I lived where you do it would be a necessity. Indeed, in order to ensure some vitamin D/good food/fine wine/sunshine I will be over in the Lyon region later in the summer - best of all, there is a GT and a Midget to play with on my friends place. Did I mention I rather like France...........

I have a medium sized glass sun roof on my GT and I love it. It never leaks, isn't hugely noticeable, easy to open and close whilst driving and still lets you get some breeze in to cool down the cabin. Haven't got a photo but I can grab one later if you'd like!
If it could be better, it's as good as broken.

I've got a Webasto in mine. Age and lots of use resulted in cracked & split vynil.
I had it recovered just before Christmas and It's getting a lot of use again

Take the time to understand what a part does and how it does it, then you'll have a better understanding of how to fix it when it goes wrong. Beats the scattergun approach every time.
