SU HS4 Choke pivot distance spring

Hi folks,

There's several versions of HS4's used on MGB's and I've noticed on the last couple of carbs that I rebuilt that there were some changes in the choke assembly - the earlier ones have a spring spacer while the later ones have a distance piece (really thick washer) see pics below. Anyone know where I can find more of the spring type?

Those are "double-coil" washers, also called Thackery/Thackary washers. They're in the Moss catalog in different sizes, in the Hardware section...

Commonly used under the heads of the three special shouldered bolts that secure the retaining ring for the large pivot ball for MGB gearsticks...
