Don,
In my experience, the fit is good. I removed the bumper, and 6 or so bolts later the front valance came off and it was just a case of bolting up the Special Tuning spoiler. Cutting small holes for the bumper irons, refitting them and the bumper. and done.
I think that I had to drill the bolt holes in the spoiler also.
Remember that the bottom lip sticks further forward than the original valance, or you will scratch it like I did, when I forgot!!

Don.
The ST dam is designed to be used with the original bumper. It does not fit flush all the way around the fenders and central body, but has boxed areas at the joint between them. This is because the joint area between fender and central body is never exactly matched up. The steel valence will bend to suit, but the fiberglass will tend to crack. Leyland solved this by not installing fasteners on either side of this joint.
These boxed areas are covered by the bumper, but may not look right without one.
I don't have any images to hand, but will try to dig some up tomorrow. Anyways. With the bumper it looks great. Without the bumper it may look a bit unfinished.

I assume you still want to run with bumpers? I run without and I flush mounted the oem valance with some difficulty - I consigned my fibreglass Sebring look valance to the "parts for sale"bin because "The steel valence will bend to suit, but the fiberglass will tend to crack". I'm doing the same for my GT but I'll combine two valances to give me the extra length rather than stretching the metal of one. I want a front lip not dissimilar to that on the ST but not quite so severe. I'll do that by turning the lower lip out. I realise that's different to fitting the ST dam but you did ask "Any other options or ideas for the front?"
