Hi fellas,
During the course of my research here, I've noticed the terms Bango - Salsbury and Tube in reference to rear ends.
I've soughted out the difference between the first two but, the Tube axle has me a little stumped.
Being a bit of a Dinosaur with computers, my searches have lead me to some strange places.....lol.
Can someone please clarify.

Regards,
OT

A Salisbury axle has a cover at the rear to access the crown and pinion and the differential gears. This type is often called a "tube" rear axle.

A banjo axle has the gearset built into a removable center section. The banjo rear axle was used on earlier B's.
