I'm looking at building a quick car out of my MGB. Nothing insane, want to drop in a ka24de and strap on a turbo or maybe get a hold of a V6/I6 eventially build off that and turn it into something that will scare away some mustangs lol. Anyways, My project right now is wheels. I'm looking to get a set of more modern wheels on the B. However, I can't find a bolt pattern. People say the 280z has the same bolt pattern although with my luck I'd have come across the wrong information. I'm curious if you guys can help me with the bolt pattern and the other thing is if you can help me identify what width of tires I'd need? I want wheels that are a bit wider because I overall enjoy the look more and more control. Something like the picture below. I'm looking at the Motegi Racing MR119 rims but don't know what tires to get. Can someone help me with which ones I should get? Looking for low profile tires. Different wheels would be fine but I am attracted to a look like the Motegis. Thanks guys!

Check the Tech Library. There is an entry titled MG Bolt-On Wheel List. The tire width has been discussed before, but I don't have those threads bookmarked. In any event, someone more knowledgeable will be along shortly and inform you.

Plenty of choices and most likely you will eventually be narrowing a stouter rearend with 5 lugs and different gearing and posi.
