I have just bought a 1500, its in bits so I guess I'm going to have a lot more questions in the next year or two.

This car has been registered, some 14 years ago in NSW and I have the paperwork.

My question is with regard to the single rear lights which I guess have three functions i.e Stop, Running Light and Indicator.

These must be all Red so has anyone had any problems with motor registeries using Red indicators?

Welcome to the nut house, Ian.

Yes. The rear lights run those three functions.

Australian Design Regulations apply only to vehicles POST 1969, so your 1500 MGA will have no problems there.
Same as seat belts ...... Not required ( unless you want them)

Edit: POST 1969

Hi Ian,

Don't you mean POST 1969?

Ross H

Any day above the ground is a great day (especially in an MGB)

Well, I really am surprised that a bloke who owns a 1958 TR3A and a 1974 E Type would need to ask this question.

Just saying.
