I cleaned all the connections under the hood of my 77 mgb yesterday trying to fix one problem (the power would intermittently turn off to the gauge cluster, wiper motor and fuel pump) when I went to start it afterwards the starter motor would not activate at all. I tested the solenoid and it gets at least 12v from feed to ground, the two terminals are also sharing at least 12v. The terminal that feeds into the starter to the starter ground is getting no power or maybe 0.05v. This is my daily driver so I need to get my mobility back stat. If anyone knows where the culprit might lay I would love to here from you, thanks
Kyle.

Relay... check the connections at the relay, also could have a faulty relay and that could have been your issue all along... or possibly ignition switch... do you have a wiring diagram?

Check ground is good. Tighten connections at battery. I had a lot of corrosion on the end of the connection between batt. Cable and the connector. It kept shorting out. Once I stripped the cable and made new connection it was ok.
