I recall a thread about MGA starter handles and how scarce they are.
I just stumbled across a source in England...~$36.00 + ship. NTG Motor Services Limited.
Nice looking with brass handle.
It's not original, but for $36.00 I can live with that! (Moss wants $86 !)
Any comments on specs, appearance, price?
I'm planning to order one...it will look nice in my "resto-mod" boot and will be handy for valve adjusts.

That's nice. Better than the original. I just scooped up a pretty rough one on eBay for $40.

Nice. But what is the total cost with shipping to the U.S.A.?

At the exchange rate of $1.38 per UK pound the cost of the handle is $45.89. Then the VAT which is 20% you would add another $9.18 and the sum comes to $55.07. Using your credit card the bank will charge you a 3% for overseas transaction. Cost $1.65 Total so far is $56.72

Still a head of the game right? Now the Kicker, What is shipping charges going to be from the UK to the USA? I'd say at lest $30 give or take.

Why would we pay VAT? I thought that it was for home customers only

I bought one of those NTG crank handles a couple of years or more ago. They're nicely made and, as mentioned, quite possibly (and unusually) as good as, or even better than the originals.
While I no longer recall the price I paid (+ postage all the way to Australia), but I suspect I paid considerably more than the price you guys are talking about (even allowing for the present weakness of the £Stg and the Aussie $ compared to the greenback).

No VAT on exports. Some credit cards don't charge the overseas transaction fee. I think the new Amazon Prime card doesn't charge this fee.

I couldn't find them on the NTG website? Are we sure it's NTG who have them. I'm still waiting for mine from Moss.

I used the search window on their site and typed in the word handle and it was shown on the 2nd or 3rd page.
