I'm having trouble with fuel delivery to my Weber. At least I think it is fuel delivery. All this started just after I brought the car out of winter storage. Going up hill would lose power and seem fuel starved, managed to limp home. Today changed fuel hoses to carb and filter and took it for a run, car stopped and would not keep running upon applying foot to gas. There is an after market electric fuel pump (Herko) on the car that does make a ticking sound upon start up, ticking sound now is very weak and upon checking pressure with a pressure regulator found only 2 psi. Do you think it's time for a new fuel pump. Have not checked any electrical as yet as it just doesn't seem to feel that kind of a problem.

Flow is more important than pressure. It will use under 4 psi but needs about a pint of fuel in 30 seconds (check by putting disconnected carb fuel line into a quart jar and turning key on)

Do you still use that original flex hose between tank and the old SU pump? That flex hose may causes a small seepage.

Might also be a vacuum build up in your fuel tank.

2 psi is OK.

Mine was doing that, after trying 2 fuel pumps I found a pin-hole in the metal line between the tank and pump.
