Went for a boat ride in my 71 MonArk. This was the boat my dad bought new when I was 10 months old. Old blue stripe Mercury runs like new.



I spend most of my money on beer, women and cars...... the rest I just waste!

Looks like the runabout that came with a houseboat we rented in the Atchafalaya swamp a few years back. Great fishing trip til the swamp tourist boats found our anchorage and dragged 'em all past to 'have a look'! About the 4th time, a local guide and friend took out a .357 Magnum and fired off a couple of rounds 'at uppity gators' near the tourists! They never came back. Gotta love La. gun laws!

what boat?



1974-1/2 Roadster, "Bumble Bee", Corvette Yellow - in shambles, wire wheels
1976 Roadster, "Virus", Sandglow - "driver" condition (stock + 32/36 Weber DGEV, cast iron header, 25D distributor), bolt on wheels, ON the road!
