Are you utilizing the wooden packing strips to elevate the rails off of the carpet?

Yes, new wood rails and spacers.
Did you lubricate the slides with white lithium grease (etc)?

They never made it off the bench. I installed the passenger seat slides on the seat frame and could barely get the floor slides to slide in them. I then tried to fit the floor slides to the floor and the bolt holes are about 1/8" off. So I'm reworking the old ones. Now wondering if I'm just lucky or are the reproduction slides just not that good.

A tip-place a straight edge on the rails that are bolted to the seat and make sure that they are straight. Sometimes if the seat frames are bent when the bolts are tightened the rails will conform to the seat frame. May have to tweek with washers as shims to get them perfect. Good luck

Thanks Rodger. I understand them and how to make them work correctly, I was just hoping to avoid fooling with them by using the Moss rails.

Thanks for the tips guys. I spent yesterday rehabbing the old ones. Again, I was just hoping for a bolt up solution, due to other family obligations and my health it's hard for me to do very much as far as mechanical work. The Moss rails are nice looking but I feel that they would have taken as much or more work than the originals to work properly. Personally, I wouldn't recommend them.
