Note the comments about Lucas electrics. This has been my observation since the mid sixties,," fools with tools", not only contributing to the Lucas myth but the myth about MG's in particular and British cars I general. I have said this before... better than 50% of our business were the owners working on their own cars, and incompetent independent shops.


On a happy note, the article considers the rubber bumper MGB to be a "best buy" in a "classic" car. I agree.
