My wife noticed an MGA in a trailer for an upcoming movie with big budget stars. It's at about 1:28 in this trailer on YouTube:

How great is a wife pointing out classic cars to you? The other day she called me back into the house to see an XK140 on Seinfeld. (Peterman drives one: http://www.imcdb.org/vehicle_311090-Jaguar-XK-140-1955.html).

My wife always notices other sports cars before I do. She even picked one out in the original TIME MACHINE, although I can't find any reference to it anywhere. For cars in movies go to the following:

Good catch. Took me several tries to get it paused long enough to see any detail. Looks like a black 1600 with no wing mirrors. Anyone here have a lead on who the "star" owner is?

Last week we were watching an episode of The Hour (cold war period British series) and one of the characters had a new MGA. After the scene finished, my wife made the comment that its doors didn't fit properly 'either'. She had heard me moaning about panel fit before and surprised me that she noticed this.

Here's a paused image.... Is it black or brit racing green? And what is the spot between the headlight and turn signal light?

The dash looks black with black trim so the car is likely black with black upholstery, and I am also curious about that "spot", a reflector maybe?

The MGA in the Chanel No5 has an interesting interior. The seats look newer than the armrest and I am guessing they are custom for Chanel. And at 5 ft 11in, it looks like Gisele Bündchen had to be shoehorned into the cockpit!

I think that spot is a reflection - just like the bright section to the right in front of the tire. I wonder if the mismatched license plate means this is a US car?

Here's another picture of the back of the car. Appears the filming was in Vancouver.
