There is an in depth thread on this here:

http://www.mgexp.com/phorum/read.php?71,2396398,2397307#msg-2397307

I posted images of original samples of the blue fabric and light blue piping. At this time I do not know of any UK supplier with exact matches. The closest you will get is some kind of Royal Blue with Horizon Blue piping.

Kelvin.

My car has black interior with light blue piping. I would prefer the dark blue with light blue piping, but then would need dark blue rubber floor and sill mats, so not worth converting colors.

Medium blue vinyl paint works on the floor mats and sill covers....it's the only way to do it as blue floor and sill mats have be non-existent since probably the mid-70s.

Thanks, Anthony. I know the floor and sill vinyl pieces can be painted, but I am ok with a black and light blue interior. That is the colour combo that is on the car and likely the way it was manufactured anyway.

As an owner of an original Iris Blue '64.. the default interior ( IMNSHO ) of black with black piping. was the reasonable choice, though mine was originally dk blue.
