I'm replacing the rear brake lines on my '74 B I recently purchased.
Actually the entire rear brakesystem.
Moss indicates it pre-made lines have a "universal" flare. I was going to make bubble flares on my own lines but now think I better go with the Moss lines to ensure no leaking.
If I do make my own - are the fittings 3/8" ?? and what thread??
Are they metric or US??
Both my lines are broken - rusted thru and the fitting are missing. I would thing the fittings going into the 3 way connector would be the same?
Also, Moss shows Lockheed hoses on the "brake parts" page but looks like metal lines to the wheel cylinders on their "Hydraulics" page.
an I convert to hoses on a '74 duel line?
I had a "74 previously and it had hard lines to the wheel cylinders.
If I can use hoses, are brackets for the connection and stabilization available?
I don't want to over complicate things but it seems the hoses would be a lot easier to install.
Thanks!!

3/8 UNF.

The hoses as opposed to hard line are only caliper feed and the rear hose - they're a substitute for the rubber hoses. If you want hoses to feed the rear brakes from the T piece you'll have to have them made and if you do then IMO only use PTFE as sold by Goodridge and the like. Feeding a swaged PTFE line into the rear brake cylinders can be problematic due to angles and space.
Mk1: CKD 11/66 first registered 8/5/67; owned since 3/77. 18GB +40 balanced. Peter Burgess BVFR head. Piper 285. 123. FidanzaFW. 4synch c/r box. Lots more as I did a nut and bolt rebuild; finished 2015. Tartan Red.
GT: December '78. VW Golf guards, flush fit front and rear valances. Torana XU1 vents, frenched indicators & Mk1 rear lights. 'Worked' Rover V8 with Monsoon ECU for EFI. GM4L60E, Lokar tiptronic & Quick4 controller. Vintage Air A/C. FC IFS. CCE 4 link rear. Salisbury with Quaife. Jaguar Storm.
3/8 UNF.
