3.4L V6 crate motor. So it didn't come with the timing plate or marker.
I'm tuning the carb and want to also get to optimum performance with timing. But, I don't have any timing marks on my crankshaft pulley.
I know I can get one from a junkyard, but that's a little ways from me. I'd rather just order one if possible. Where can I find one on the web guys? Or, does anyone have one laying around? Scot, Bill, Brian? I know you have an extra! Haha, how much do I owe you for it?
I need a timing plate for my V6, where to get it other than junk yard?

Adam, you do not need one. Mark the top dead center on the block to match that of the damper.
Use a timing light with a timing dial. Set the number of degrees you want on the timing light, the damper and the block mark will match you then have set the timing to the amount of degrees that you chose on the timing light.
Damn, I already purchased a timing light without the dial. I guess I'll throw it on eBay and get one with a dial.
Btw, I do have some marks on the engine and the damper. Didn't check to see if those were TDC when I did line everything up a while back. I didn't think they did, but is there any timing marks on a V6 crate motor? Just clarifying
Yes do have a deep groove on damper, that one is the top dead center.
You can put the mark anywhere in the block as long as the piston is TDC.
Call me if you have any questions.
Bills right, but I made my own out of a little aluminum bar stock. Adjusable pointer etc. You will never find one in a junk yard. Some what strange but true.
Adam,
Does your timing cover have the tapped holes to mount one? If so I have a timing plate off a 2.8 that may work. I would need to locate it.
Larry, I'll check today when I get to the car. I would imagine that there is tapped holes because your supposed to take everything off the 2.8/3.1 to put onto the 3.4 crate motor.
