Sharpen that blade!

73 MGB. Tires: Round, black, hold air. Oil: Sometimes old, sometimes new...always slippery. Oil filter: Yellow, usually full of oil. Carbs: 2 SU HIF. Distributor: Yes. Headlights: Not that bright but bright enough. A bunch of other stuff most cars have but not really important enough to itemize. Oh, wait...it has a cool sounding exhaust with stickers on the chrome tips. Really slays the ladies...

Unless you're logging...get rid of that beast.
I've got a 16" Stihl that can make quick work of a cord of fire sized logs. I always carry my cordless Dremel with a blue sharpening stone on it to give the blade a "touch-up" after every 2 cords or so. Money WELL spent!

Years ago I lived in Washington state. I was in the Navy and didn't have a lot of extra money but two kids and a wife.
A friend of mine had an uncle who cut "hop poles" used to hang/dry hops, for the Olympia Brewery. They had to be a specific size/length...and we had to "pick" them out of the clear-cut areas that had been previously harvested by Warehouser. We worked for him on our weekends off for $100 a day cash. We showed up to camp early Saturday morning and he gave me this BIG old chainsaw that weighed a ton. We ran nothing but the used engine oil drained out of his semi in gallon milk jugs for bar lube...but that thing was a BEAST! I'd simply use the weight of the thing to do the work. Two days of lugging that thing up and down mountains, setting choke chains and using an old D6 Cat to drag the "poles" out was better than a week in the gymn!lol!

I've got an electric saw from HF. It starts and runs well. Sometimes you need a really long extension cord, tho........

This car is now very nearly completely done. Sure to find something else, but not now.........And 12 years later, I'm starting to fix things that were new when we built the car. It's pretty well de-bugged!
