If it's been painted since it left the factory all bets are off.
It's only when doing repairs that the paint needs matching, in the case of a complete respray nobody bothers with precision because it doesn't matter.
Spectrophotometry is the only way to be certain and the white car I had turned out to be painted in a Toyota colour !
