I think I've found the the temp vs speed for my 1980 LE. Coming up the hill from Cortez CO towards Flagstaff with the heat on.
109 was the reported outside temp. The tap point for the volt meter shows me when they are running, not alternator problems.
Not that I think the electric fans were helping any by then! Maybe its time for major interstates for the trip back to MN.

I feel for ya man! My MGB guage showed the CHevrolet engine running about that temp out in Nevada. But I have no idea what "H" on an MGB guage MEANS in degrees!
But it sat right on hot the whole way day before yesterday.

This car is now very nearly completely done. Sure to find something else, but not now.........And 12 years later, I'm starting to fix things that were new when we built the car. It's pretty well de-bugged!
But it sat right on hot the whole way day before yesterday.
