Both my float bowl covers are severely cracked and held together by some type of epoxy - DPO must have broken them trying to undo the banjo bolts.

Been this way for years, but now they're leaking and it's time to either repair them properly or get replacements. Any advice on whether they can be 'soldered'?

Moss prices on new ones are really high, not to mention shipping them all the way south to Barbados.....

Doubtful. I think that they are zinc die cast or aluminum die cast loaded with zinc. Zinc is difficult to impossible to weld/solder and the covers would warp distorting the gasket seal to the bowls.

Be safe out there.

TRy scott harper at team triumph, he has broken down hundreds of british cars and will surely ship you a couple for a reasonable price. Try phone and be patient, terrific resource for recycled parts.
