Very nice. Identical to my 4 cylinder other than obviously the engine and wheels.
Looks a tad high at the front though?
Shame they don't know what colour it is, it's Harvest Gold, not Sandglow Yellow.

Wheels look like crap, and the ride height is ......well questionable........unless with the price drop they're using cheap photographers.

"Wheels look like crap"
Yeah but they're Factory (#7)
But this is a worry " fresh rubbers throughout"

"All brightwork is in superb condition, with no dents and almost no pitting. "
I would demand NO pitting at such a price.

No pitting... and they would have to swap out those horrible, baggy door cards. Nice car though. Ride height is a bit high.

X2 nice car.
It does appear to be Sandglow and FWIW someone will pay that price.
The interior lets it down but easily & inexpensively corrected. The ride height needs addressing as well. I would think the interior & ride height to be part of a negotiating package if one is seriously interested.
FWIW in comparison the Frontline Abingdon Edition is starting priced at 86K £ so give some thought of the market this car is offered to.

Life's most persistent and urgent question is, "What are you doing for others?"

At 70 grand those things should have been easily & inexpensively corrected before offering it up. I like the wheels.

I totally agree Adrian, perhaps the fellow thought and misunderstood patina. Those are V8 OE wheels later used on LE edition?
Anyway 10K $ should take care of the 'worn' interior and is now a deal at 59K $ or 78K $ Canadian
FWIW I like this car

Damn!!! I'm into my V-8 MGB for right around $10k and I'm worried that I'll never get that much back out of it. It doesn't look nearly that good but for $50k in my pocket I'll drive mine and enjoy it.

My MGB GT has been in the family for 53 years. Restoration almost finished! The Lotus? Mid life crises I should have bought when I was 25.

Price in the UK seems to be around the A$25,000 - A$50,000 mark for genuine factory V8's, admittedly most aren't as good as the one displayed. It's still way too much, and I predict will be back on the market next year for around A$50,000 - A$55,000 as it's probably being sold on consignment.
