Hey, guys...new to the MGB (TR-6 owner of 44 years!), and am in the process of restoring a chrome bumper '74.

Question: is there a market for (a) 14" Rostyle wheels and/or (b) original seats (both in need of refurbishing)?

Inquiring mind wants to know before deciding what to do with them.

Thanks.

I had several parts cars at one time. I found it more gratifying to give away the unneeded parts than try to sell them. I also had folks give me parts when I needed them. I think that is what makes MG people special-their desire to help others enjoy MGs.

I think you'll find that neither has much value since they are common as dirt. If they were in great condition that would be somewhat different, but still not what I'd consider "valuable"

You have to remember, they made WAY more MGBs than TR6s (or any other sports car except the Miata) so old parts in poor condition are everywhere...

It's a good idea to hang out in the buy and sell forum if you are an MGB owner. I have posted WTB ads and had great response. I have received about 80% of what I bought "as advertised" a few things were pretty sub-par but they weren't high dollar items.

You will also get a feel for what stuff costs and when you have spotted a deal. I recently bought a complete twin SU setup for way way more than market value and am most thankfull to the seller. If he ever needs anything from me it's a given and if I can pay it forward in any way to another member I will.

Great community over all.

Free to collect or for a 6 pack or a bottle of wine maybe not worth spending money on for carriage anywhere.
