Okay, Spring is nigh and those outdoor chores are waiting... both my 5-gal plastic gas jugs are empty and the rototiller, lawnmower, etc need the go juice! I went to Four gas stations today (FOUR!) couldn't get ANY of the nozzles to fill my jugs. (Thought i knew most of the tricks, still didn't work) Yeah, I could probably syphon out of my MGs, but I REALLY hate the taste of gas! California emission laws are starting to impact my life. Am I in the minority here?

old bloke.....california insanity is affecting the entire nation, and NOT for the better.....as for your particular problem, I can only guess that the nozzles are programed some how....maybe you can plug the gas cans into a 240v outlet and filler up with "juice" and get yer green stamps too...

Jim!! Just drive up to Oregon and the employee will put it in the gas can.
Seriously, I have a hand pump and store fuel in my GT for the mower and rototiller.

Jim:
If your GT has a fuel filter in the engine compartment, take the line off after the fuel filter put a piece of fuel hose long enough to reach gas can sitting on ground. Turn ignition on and your pump will fill can. If you want to be really careful take the wire off the distributor so points or pertronix doesn't get to hot but never found it necessary. Have done it personally as part of the experiment on which has a larger tank rubber or chrome bumper B

Or come to New Jersey.
