Wow, it's been a while. When going to college in California in the late 1970's I found a sweet 1968 MGBGT that I drove for 6 years in College, doing all my own maintenance, as I grew up on a family farm in Ontario. When it was time to get to work I drove California to Toronto just before winter set in, and got some tire chains. That car was near perfect until I started driving it around Toronto. It succumbed to rust within 4 years when a newspaper delivery truck hit it head on while parked outside on the street. Oh well, I got more than it was worth from insuirance. Fast forward to more recent times and I had near given up hope on finding a nice rust free replacement. Of course it had to be a 1968 GT or close. Finally found one in you guessed, California, not far from where I found the first one years back. The seller answered my questionI asked after I bought it about driving it across country to Ontario. He said he honestly thought it would not be a problem. It was not, and now I have it. This one is not going to get wrecked on City roads, as I am back on the farm, and have no intention of driving it on salted roads in the winter. No salt on the roads near farming, at least not around where I am.

Does this pic look funny to any body else, or have I been looking at it too long? Does not look funny in person. Any body notice anything funny about it? Anyway--Hi all!

The picture kinda looks like a RHD. I always thought it would be neat to have a RHD MG. BTW, my first MG was a '69 GT.

Cheers - Dennis

That's where they are supposed to be, on both sides, so you can still open the vent window.

Nice looking car, pic doesn't look funny, I think you have been looking at it too long and are seeing things. Maybe put the bottle away for the night...............

Edited for spelling.

Should look right for the Australians now. I've also included the Canadian version.

Welcome to the forum. I too drove across country (Canada) way back when (1966) to my first job out of university. All the way from Vancouver to Kitchener Ontario. Been in these parts ever since.

Looks like the camera/lens combination is causing a lot of 'barrel distortion' in the photograph - makes the "something not right here" part of the brain activate.........
