Hi, I'm looking for help trying to figure out why my right front turn light is not flashing/working. The rear right flashes and all the other 3 flash with Hazard switch but not the right front. The running light works too. I'm just not getting power to that GW wire up by the light. Thanks

So you have used a test lamp or meter to determine that there is no power on the wire? If you have power on the wire but not getting lighting, check for a clean ground. Check for a clean socket. Check for a good bulb (clean the contact at the end of the bulb for sure).

I tested the GW wire at the connection up by wire bundle in front of the car. No power there. Its not a fuse as all other lights work. I need to figure out where that wire joins the right rear to see if its a bad connection there but I've no idea where they join. I should have mentioned I've a 1976 model. Thanks!

I trust you have the advancewire schematic.

Willing to bet it's a bad bullit connector near grill below slam panel on right. Try wiggling wires, or use color code.

I tried that and also looked under dash where wires come together and tested those as well with no luck. In looking at the schematic the right front and rear come together at some point - thought it was under dash but not sure as all seems good there. Thanks.

That's where the OE diagrams are helpful. The turn signal circuits come forward from the dash to the big clump of connectors on the right fender just behind the fuse box. Here the front turnsignal and rear turnsignal connect to the dash harness in a 4 way connector.

Kelvin.

Thanks! I've a 1976 work shop manual with wiring schematic and I see the 4 plug connector but it does not show me where that thing is located. Now thanks to you I know, its right in front of my face!! Man, I've been trying to figure this out for hours and it was a 2 second fix. I put in some LED bulbs in dash and front marker and rear lights and all a sudden no right front signal, thought I bumped something or ?? Turns out to be just a coincidense and that 4 plug deal was corroded - UGH!! Well at least I'm back in business. Thanks again!!

Thanks Kelvin for location.

I've added location that to my schematic.

As time goes by, I've added connector locations to my schematic; it would be great if there were a list of where each connector is located, but that would be only be easy if one were to notate this when installing a new wire harness, and would be different for different years. Maybe in time.

This is from the 1978 Manual, but is still very useful for a 1977 model.
