Front cowling floor removal?

Which is to say, how do i? It seems easiest to remove the body and then do the cowling, if the tub is coming off anyway ...

Well yes when the body is off the chassis is the most accessible

I find it easier to have that panel out of the way - less chance of bending it.
The rear of the transmission can't be lowered very much as you remove the engine.
So as the front of the engine is raised to clear the front cross-member - the front of the transmission raises up as well (crunch).

A little less of a problem if you remove the engine and tranny separately but can still get in the way.
