I've been looking but so far the answer has eluded me.
Are the MGC spindles and king pins the same as the MGB's
If they are I assume the MGB rebuilt spindle assemblies will fit, or conversely, if they are not the same then are there any complete rebuilt assemblies available for the MGC?

Ken, I just went through this process but found that my kingpins and internal swivel arm bushes were in good shape so I retained them as-is. To do a full reconditioning you would require a kit such as this: http://mgbhive.co.uk/product/mgc/mgc-pair-king-pin-kits/ or http://www.mossmotors.com/Shop/ViewProducts.aspx?PlateIndexID=120166
The MGBHive site also lists a "recondition service" where they will do all the work for you for 125GBP per side plus shipping.
The problem with doing it yourself is you also need a MGC specific reamer tool (it's not cheap): https://www.bighealey.co.uk/reamer-king-pin-mgc-msuf117
If your bushes and kingpin are in good shape I would recommend retaining them if at all possible and just refurb the rest of the unit with new:
1x Thrust washer per side
Thrust floating washer (3x thicknesses - choose the combo that limits float without eliminating it, I recommend just buying 1 of each size per side as they are cheap)
2x Sealing ring per side
new locking tab per side
You can find all of these parts here: http://www.mgocspares.co.uk/acatalog/MGOC_SPARES_STUBS_AND_HUBS__MGC__333.html#topanch or http://www.mossmotors.com/Shop/ViewProducts.aspx?PlateIndexID=45220#5
or I'm sure other parts suppliers.
If you have any specific questions I can help with let me know.
Regards,
Joel
Cheers,
Joel
