Am I alone in believing that a car isn't really yours until you give it its first thorough Wash, Wax, and interior cleaning ?

Bought my very first MG , a 1979 mgb, in early December last year, stored it for the winter and finally its warm enough here in Nova Scotia to get her on the road.

I consider today as my official ownership day. She's mine smiling smiley

I'm a happy man .... life is good !

Knew a union carpenter that believed his new truck was not ready to be used until he christened every panel with his hammer. Once every panel had a suitable dent he could be free of the fear/worry about accidentally doing damage while on the job.

Well Gerry,
I was going to post it there and then I thought, "well it's not really a tech question" and since I'm fairly new on here i figured it might belong in Off Topic as it was more of a general observation.
Still learning the etiquette of the forum winking smiley

Paul, nobody here is likely to get upset about MGB posts, but I think Gerry's trying to help you get the most out of your post. There is a lot less traffic here than on the MGB/MGBGT forum, which was the original (aka "main" ) one. Lots of members don't ever read or post here in OT.

Anything directly pertaining to MGBs is ok over there...it doesn't have to be tech.

BTW, welcome!
