The least they could have done is to use a chisel or a screwdriver or something that would be useful to you when you do it correctly and do not need the Factory Authorized field mod.

Is it a Lucas brand knife?

Some guy's wife is still saying, "I know we use to have eight of these knives" !!

Oil leak?? What oil leak? That puddle under the car is just sweat from all that horsepower!!

You've got completely the wrong rear bracket for an 80 that's the core problem, with the correct one the tail pipe should be nestling in the cut out in the valance designed to accommodate it.

If it's functional and dependable, then it can't be Lucas, can it? smiling smiley

Actually on reflection it might be the right bracket but not bolted up the the inside of the valance because it couldn't hang where it is if it were.

I was thinking of mine but of course it's not a standard item so fixes slightly differently.

Ridiculous. Everyone knows that you should use a fork, not a knife.

Does that go with the proverbial "fork in the road"? That was a rare late 70s BL exhaust mod. Very expensive in sterling silver. smiling smiley

I had a more oval-shaped (not round) muffler installed so it sits much higher to avoid the endless scraping I used to get going up my driveway.

Could be. It can't go fast, then there's that knife...
