I liked watching Ed, too bad he is leaving. He is a brilliant mechanic. I heard they overhauled a Sprite, but never seen that show.

The Bugeye was a 2 part show. You can find it on Youtube. They also did a Morris Minor Traveller.

Without Ed China, there is no point in watching, unless the get another truly bright mechanic.

Agreed. Mike's kind of a fruit loop. Ed is the show. IMHO FWIW

They have Ant Anstead taking over the roll as mechanic. He was on a series called For the Love of Cars and he also has his own business making bespoke cars.

Just when I found out about this show a couple of months ago this happens. Well thanks for telling me about it being on youtube Gives me something to watch tonight. The rest of TV is so senseless these days, I need to pull the plug on the cable.

Ed China just had a very personal presentation and explained details well. He seemed like ourselves & unassuming, did he not? He will be hard to top. In-between the two guys, I considered him the star of the show.

I agree with you! I didn't discover the US or British version of this show until I house-sat a friends house over this past Christmas holiday. I soaked it all in. Agree Ed was the reason I watched things like the Bimmer station wagon and LUV pick up truck get sorted. I watched a marathon of most episodes over the course of three weeks!

Otherwise, I am watching TV at home with rabbit ears when I absolutely have to watch it.

I didn't think I could like Ed China more, but after watching the video I do. He is a real stand-up guy and honest to boot. Sadly it peaks volumes to the problems of many TV shows, to damn with quality if it lower the bottom line. It sounds a lot like the same reasons that Aaron Kaufman left Gas Monkey Garage. It might be an interesting show if the two of them got together.
