I bought a set of Dunlop SP20 tires about 3 years ago from Tire Rack; at the time, they had several brands available in this size (now there is only 1). Although the Dunlops do not carry the the 80 designation, just 165R15, they are an 80 aspect ratio. Dunlop is a brand owned by Goodyear and it does appear that this specific tire may no longer be made as I could not find it at several internet distributors. I actually like these Dunlops, but when its time to replace them in 4 years or so, I'll be expecting even fewer options to choose from.

When did Dunlop terminate manufacture of 165-80 R15 tires for the MGA? I have tire dealer that says he can still get these, but I don't see any properly sized tires on the Dunlop website. Didn't Goodyear buy them out years ago?
Ask him to give you the DOT date code from the tire. That'll tell you what year they were manufactured.
