Is it possible to fit (and find?) two-eared knockoff spinners, similar to the Dunlop wheels' onto regular MGA steel wheels? I have regular steel wheels on my 58 and consider the knockoffs very good looking. I'm aware they'd only be a cosmetic addition, but even so...I'd like to have a set. Any ideas?

Someone here, just don't remember who, did a sweet "conversion" using TR6 wheels and centers with "knock-offs" attached. They looked TERRIFIC ! ! ! ! ! !

I'd been planning on doing the same thing, but there is a set of wheels that Hap carries that I now like the look of better.

Try a search, the post will turn up.

I like the look of the 2 bar spinner also.
You need TR6 hubcaps, TR6 lugnuts, and a set of spinners (found my spinners on flea-bay).
Wyatt - here on the forum posted a pic one time so I copied it using plastic spinners rather then the heavy metal original style.
It will be pretty hard to keep the shops from beating the spinners off - the spinner bars will be close to the lug nuts but I think the look is worth the trouble.
You can leave the hubcap knobs on the wheel or grind them off.
Looks similar to the Dunlop style on the Twin Cam and Deluxe cars.

Eric

These are standard MGA wheels but you can also use TR6 wheels.
