Does 1980 MGB use 1 9/16" or 15/16" anywhere?

Yes. 1" I needed a few weeks ago, but I forget where... 15/16 was necessary on the clutch slave hose. 9/16" wrench is required on 3/8 bolts. (1/4" bolt has a 7/16 head, 5/16 bolt has a 1/2" head, 3/8 bolt has a 9/16" head, 7/16 bolt has a 5/8 head, a 1/2" bolt has a 3/4 inch head.

Is it 1 and 9/16 inch , or is it three wrenches 1in ,9/16 in ,15/16? Your tile is very confusing(poorly written)

POORLY WRITTEN TITLE? Maybe a mistake in the title?

Unforgivable!

In any debate, the side which strays from civil discussion is usually the side that lacks confidence in its debate position or in the merit of their arguments. Making personal attacks on the opponents instead of staying on the subject is also a sign of weakness.

Anyone who feels compelled to respond in kind to any perceived slight is often suffering from narcissism.

Hi bought a sale kit at Sears of the next bigger sized wrenches over 3/4".

I use them around the house more often than I thought I would.

Suspension, trailer stuff.

see if the 1 inch fits the oil cooler hose fitting at the block. It is a whitworth size, but I believe the 1 inch is a fine stand in, IIRC.

Mea Culpa

I try to define issue in title, as all threads should.

Yes I put the " in wrong place, but my post has only 2 sentences; the first clarifies issue succinctly.

But then what is best way to define one and nine sixteenths in numbers?

1 9/16"? (guess so)
