I just finished replacing all exterior lighting with LEDs and headlights with halogen. Also installed relay for headlights and replaced signal flasher. All exterior lights work correctly and big improvement I might add. However, it appears my dash lights have stopped working completely.

Also, my horn does not work which was a pre-existing problem. Interestingly though, pressing the horn button on signal stalk activates the brights on the headlights.

Thoughts?

All my vehicles are green. They run on recycled dinosaurs.

Bypass the dash light rheostat in order to get LED dash lights to work.

I know the flashed brights switch is powered separately from the regular headlights, so that might help explain it a bit.
That said, experts will explain what's really going on.

Harry, the only way your horn push can operate the main beam on the headlights is if you've somehow cross connected the purple and blue/white wires and bearing in mind what you've been doing that's that's going to have happened at the front where the blue/whites from the headlights connect into the harness.

It also perfectly explains why the horn doesn't work.

LED bulbs are somewhat fussy as to orientation. Remove the bulbs and turn them 180 degrees in their sockets.
