I have a72 B roadster. On the console I have 3 switches, two warning lights and the lighter. One of the switches is the Hazard lights. One says "lights" I assume this is for fog and/or spot lights, which I don't have. The third switch is located where the rear glass defog switch would go in a GT. But since it is a roadster and it doesn't have a rr defog it also does not seem to have a purpose. I have a couple questions 1) Did MG originally sell the roadster with these switches and they served some other purpose. 2) or where the holes in the console not punched or plated off, therefore, the PO has installed them for some reason and 3) since it does not seem these switches are serving a function, can I use them for another purpose.

Thanks for all the help and advice, don't know a better source of information for a hobby.

The 72 console as installed in the roadster originally came with the hazard flasher switch and 2 extra switch holes with plastic plugs in them.
